AVANU® founded in 1997 and based in San Jose, California USA is a privately held network infrastructure product developer with R&D, manufacturing, and production in the United States. Graduated from the U.S. SBA 8(a)/SDB program in 2015.

Pamela Sun, President and CEO

Pamela founded AVANU in 1997, bringing her broad management background of technical sales, channel sales, technical support, and operations management from both the private and public sector of the computer industry. She carries forth her vast experience in management along with past business development in the corporate, government, and channel sales to AVANU along with her keen sense of customer-centric providing service with honesty, high integrity and professionalism.

Starting with niche Unix offerings, Pamela has made common-sense technology practices and requirements the foundation of the company.  Network optimization technologies along with the evolution in the industry are the changes she seeks starting with the popular and well-established WebMux Network load balancing products acquisition from CAI Networks in 2012.

Dr. David Terlinden, Chief Scientist
Dr. Terlinden brings extensive software programming expertise skills and talent to AVANU from his vast experiences with software developers, has taught at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA and has worked on CAI Networks’ load balancer products from an early start. Dr. Terlinden is a native of California and received his Bachelor, Master’s and Doctorate degrees all in Mathematics.
