REST API Load Balancer
AVANU WebMux API aligns with REST principles to design and build custom configurations and interfaces quickly and easily.

The WebMux Network Traffic Manager provides the flexible and versatile configuration and query access both you and your customers desire with its RESTful API.

The WebMux Application Programming Interface (API) aligns with the highly regarded Representational State Transfer (REST) principles.

Flexibility with the choice of methods for HTTP or HTTPS requests accommodates differing interpretations of the REST guidelines.

WebMux responds in the easily parsed JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) format.

Developers can take advantage of existing tools (such as cURL or wget) or use their preferred programming language (C, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.) to create customized interfaces to fit specific requirements.

One example of using the WebMux RESTful API is to create a centralized control panel which allows your data center administrators to manage a number of different devices, including a number of WebMux units.

Another example might be creating specialized tools to allow access to the WebMux in a controlled and supervised manner.  You can provide such tools to clients for whom you deliver WebMux load balancing services, allowing them to manage their own load balancing settings remotely.

The WebMux RESTful API lets you design and build your own custom configuration and interface quickly and easily to interact with the WebMux to best meet everyone’s particular needs.
